Why We Need This Position 


In this role, you will partner with business leaders, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and other internal stakeholders to support our growing organization. We are looking for a savvy partner who can work to understand the goals and priorities of our teams across Teague and develop solutions to help teams, individuals, and managers be successful in a fast paced and evolving environment. The guiding goal for this role is to bring the best level of support to the employees, teams, and leaders of Teague. 


What You Would Be Doing 

  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding employee requests and answering questions related to HR policies and procedures, payroll, and benefits, and escalating as needed.  
  • Support the new hire processes including background checks, pre-employment paperwork, and onboarding.  
  • Process employee changes including personal data, promotions, and position changes, creating corresponding documentation as needed.  
  • Process employee departures and prepare off-boarding materials.  
  • Support managers by identifying professional development options to support growth and learning, by developing, growing, and managing a program around career development.  
  • Support leave of absence process including tracking leave and creating corresponding paperwork.  
  • Draft, edit and/or review a variety of materials including HR handbooks, policy documents, and other HR/TA collateral.  
  • Respond to employment verification requests, unemployment claims, and other HR mail.  
  • Work directly with Director of People and HR for various Human Resources projects and tasks.

  • Team player mentality, with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work with other team members to achieve results. 
  • Ability to quickly develop a firm understanding of our People, Culture, HR policies and processes, and then establish them across teams through formal trainings and informal touchpoints. 
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours on occasion. 
  • Ability to travel to other Teague facilities in the greater Seattle area.

Teague is currently working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are a Washington State based company. All employees must reside in the state of Washington and be able to access one of our studio locations in the greater Seattle area when we return to work in our hybrid/remote work approach.
