Why We Need This Position
Though art and aesthetics are crucial to compelling and successful design, Teague also relies on its Graphic Designers to have a deep understanding of how strategy, information architecture, and schematics translate into design. We’re looking for someone who knows how to seamlessly blend aesthetics and business strategy into a harmonious whole that meets our clients’ strategic brand objectives. That’s where you come in.
Who We’re Looking For
You are a collaborative, passionate and highly organized designer with a strong aesthetic and a keen strategic mind. Your primary responsibility is supporting the graphic design, execution and articulation of our clients’ brands across a wide variety of consumer touch points and then supporting our teams as they develop new brand strategies and creative solutions to fit our clients’ strategic framework. On any given day, you may find yourself assisting the team in building persuasive presentations; defining objectives, approach and work flow to efficiently achieve client deliverables; updating the design team’s project and data management tools; and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams. In order to thrive in this position, you’ll need a solid foundation in brand and typography; experience developing big-picture ideas and translating them into different channels; and hands-on knowledge of how to translate design ideas into print, digital, product and environmental spaces. Personality-wise, you’re flexible, nimble, and unflappable, capable of juggling competing priorities and demands with a smile. You’re passionate about design, up to date on best practices and market trends and processes, and love the prospect of collaborating with other experts to craft innovative solutions for our clients.
