The Director of People is a hands-on role that frequently jumps between strategic and tactical work, closely collaborates with leadership on a variety of initiatives, and manages Teague’s People team including talent acquisition and human resource functions. This person has the ability to influence at the executive level and develop and drive strategic change through the development and execution of people projects.

Hat #2: You’re a trusted advisor who can generate strong employee engagement and a gifted diplomat, skilled at resolving conflict and sensitive and adaptable to the needs of our people and our business. Hat #3: You are a seasoned expert in the nuts and bolts of running a People team and can design, pilot and scale high impact and innovative people programs (e.g. DEI, performance and talent management, total rewards programs, talent acquisition, employer branding, and more). Hat #4: You are a creator and guardian of company culture, passionate about ensuring that Teague remains a desirable, innovative, and fun place to work.  Although you excel at thinking big and like envisioning the future, you aren’t afraid of rolling up your sleeves and throwing yourself into the details.   • Experience: Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field; 10+ years in the People profession including management experience with direct reports; SPHR certification preferred
  • Special skills: Deep expertise on all things related to people, culture and organizations with an ability to connect the dots to deliver value; strength in developing and executing new strategies, policies and programs in a creative environment, leading talent acquisition and retention tactics, managing compensation and benefits plans, guiding DEI initiatives
  • Passion: Partnering at all levels across the organization to get things done and enrich the employee experience
  • Role: Collaborating with leaderships to design People programs that support our growing business, enhance our culture and help Teague reach its goals
  • Personality: authentic, charismatic, organized, diplomatic, collaborative, big picture thinker, full of ideas with a bias toward action and results



Teague is based in the Greater Seattle Area.  This is a hybrid role, which can pair working from home with working from our studio locations.
