This is an associate level creative director position. This person is already leading projects, teams and content today, but is also still looking to grow many other dimensions of being a creative director. The person will lead project work and be involved in generating and developing content. Think of this role more as a senior designer that has already begun the transformation as a coach/player into a creative director role. The type of work we expect to engage this Associate Creative Director will focus on future passenger experience and airplane development work as well as many of Teague’s growth categories in transportation and mobility.
Why We Need This Position
In the design world, the whole is often greater than the sum of its parts. The secret ingredient is successful collaboration among multi-disciplinary teams. It takes a very particular type of person to serve as a liaison between designers, management and clients, to guide the creative process, and draw out a diverse team’s individual talents. With the right person at the helm, the results can be truly spectacular.
Who We’re Looking For
You are a big-picture visionary who can define and guide a project’s vision, ensure that the vision is aligned with TEAGUE’s other creative departments, and express that vision clearly and persuasively to management and clients at all organizational levels. In addition to being an effective and articulate liaison, you’re a gifted mentor and manager, excited to help designers develop their strengths and well-versed in inspiring others to come up with creative solutions. Yes, you love to design, but what you love even more is harnessing the wide-ranging talents of a highly motivated, multifaceted group of creative types and optimizing them to create results. You have a strong aesthetic and point of view, which comes into play when facilitating and leading internal design critiques with your project team, as well as others. You not only value your colleagues, but you develop productive long-term relationships with clients. You contribute actively to the development of proposals that establish budgets, performance expectations and resourcing requirements and are happy to assist in developing business opportunities with core clients. Finally, you have the technical knowledge to get the job done. If you’re passionate about the idea of helping to build TEAGUE’s dynamic creative culture, we want to hear from you.
