The Creative Director is a visionary leader for cultural and design excellence in the Aerospace Design Studio and across Teague. The position requires extensive knowledge of and experience in design consulting and the ability to direct multi-disciplinary teams in a holistic design approach on complex strategic projects. The Creative Director is highly collaborative; responsible for crafting a creative point of view, vision and content; and partners with Program/Project Management to ensure the highest quality deliverables are achieved. They are responsible for the creative quality, output, processes and oversight of project teams; the ideation, presentation and execution of client product development; and the operational readiness of the creative team, all in fulfillment of TEAGUE’s promise to our clients. The role supports multiple projects and guides teams that can range from 1 to 10 designers per project.

Who We’re Looking For
The focus of this role will be on brand, brand strategy, storytelling, video storytelling, and art direction of content. The type of work we expect to engage this Creative Director in is less about physical (hardware) and digital (software) product design and more on helping clients and teams with the ambiguity of understanding their brand, using that perspective to inform their product strategy or messaging, and delivering that message through compelling content and assets. Personality-wise, you’re a dynamic presenter with engaging charisma and you’re endowed with the diplomatic and interpersonal skills of a head of state, adept at working effectively with a diverse range of co-workers and clients to produce superlative results; and possess a nimble, solution-oriented mindset. You are a gifted storyteller with strong writing and communication skills. You understand how to clarify and amplify a client’s brand through clear messaging, a compelling user experience or journey, and how to tell that story through copy, messaging, renderings, animation, and video mediums. What You Will Be Doing
You will engage in a wide range of work across exciting growth categories including; aerospace, commercial space, autonomous automotive, urban air mobility, travel & tech, to name a few. So, this means we are designing the future of…airplane interiors and passenger experience, space vehicles, space habitats, new automotive vehicle experiences, autonomous electric flying vehicles, hyperloop rail travel experiences and more. On a tactical level, you’ll partner with the Business Development & Program Management teams to pursue and/or respond to new client and project opportunities. You will help craft compelling POV’s that highlight the opportunity to build a new and better world. This includes leading and supporting pitches, writing proposals, and communicating the value of Teague. In addition, you’ll use your strategic thinking skills to drive conversations with new and existing clients to support their design, product and brand strategy with project teams and executive level client stakeholders. You are comfortable working through ambiguity, shaping a clear path forward, and guiding clients and teams through research, strategy, and design work. Finally, you have a good understanding of team skillsets and can bring the right team to programs. Managing clients, addressing ongoing challenges, pivoting as needed, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to schedules and budgets are all part of the job.

TEAGUE is currently working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are a Washington State based company. All employees must reside in the state of Washington and be able to access one of our studio locations in the greater Seattle area when we return to work in our hybrid/remote work approach.
