Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst provides budgeting, trending, and financial analysis for TEAGUE, including analytical support, expense forecasting, productivity metric reporting, implementing new processes, and communicating business cost drivers to the Executive and Senior Leadership teams.

The senior financial analyst is responsible for updating the daily cash forecast and distributing that to management; reviewing and analyzing the revenue and financial reports each month and preparing analytical summaries based on trend, budget and forecast; and preparing month-end and year-end financial reports for senior leadership. In addition, this role is responsible for the annual budget and quarterly forecast process for determining revenues, expenses and capital expenditures.   • Responsible for updating daily cash forecast and distributing to management
  • Responsible for revenue review and analysis each month
  • Reviews financial reports each month and prepares analytical summaries based on trend, budget and forecast
  • Responsible for month-end and year-end closing for general ledger
  • Prepares month-end financial reports and distributes to senior leadership
  • Responsible for the annual budget and quarterly forecast process for determining revenues, expenses and capital expenditures 
  • Conducts financial analysis projects and statistical studies, including, but not limited to analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for all divisions and identify trends
  • Prepares special projects/reports as needed and substitutes for other staff as needed or assigned
  • Model TEAGUE’s values and competencies; comply with policies and practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Experience working in a consultancy/creative is a plus
  • Ability to analyze administrative problems and adopt an effective course of action
  • Experience selecting information from sources such as financial and operating records and to organize information for reports
  • Experiencing creating reports, producing business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Knowledge of NetSuite preferred
  • Experience presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers and employees
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and draw valid conclusions

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent interaction with clients and co-workers requires regular attendance in the work place
  • Normal, corrective vision range; ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach
  • Occasionally required to reach and grab objects
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours
  • Some travel to other TEAGUE facilities in the greater Seattle area as necessary

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Accounting, business administration or a related field is required
  • MBA/CPA or similar credentials is preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft office, advanced user of personal productivity tools and mobile device technology
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Effective organizational skills, time management, and detail orientation with the ability to support several projects concurrently, while maintaining excellent follow-through
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees
  • Comfortable communicating and interacting effectively at all levels within an organization
