The Creative Director is a visionary leader for cultural and design excellence in the Aerospace Design Studio and across Teague. The position requires an extensive knowledge of and experience in design consulting and the ability to direct multi-disciplinary teams in a holistic design approach on complex strategic projects. The Creative Director is highly collaborative; responsible for crafting a creative point of view, vision and content; and partners with Program/Project Management to ensure the highest quality deliverables are achieved. They are responsible for the creative quality, output, processes and oversight of project teams; the ideation, presentation and execution of client product development; and the operational readiness of the creative team, all in fulfillment of TEAGUE’s promise to our clients. The role supports multiple projects and guides teams that can range from 1 to 10 designers per project.

Who We’re Looking
A creative and enthusiastic industry expert and seasoned leader adept at inspiring and managing creative teams. On a strategic level, you understand the "big picture" and can project into the future by promoting innovation, experience and growth. You have a clear and compelling point of view that will guide you as you work with senior leadership to shape a path forward for TEAGUE. You will participate in the studio’s strategic planning and make recommendations for changes to the creative function to meet market changes and competitive threats. It’s up to you to direct the creative function so that all aspects—culture, team, tools, processes, expectations, and work style—support the TEAGUE brand and TEAGUE strategic goals.
On a tactical level, you’ll partner with the Business Development & Program Management teams to pursue and/or respond to new client and project opportunities. You’ll lead and support pitching and shaping new opportunities with a strong POV, help writing proposals and estimate projects. In addition, you’ll use your strategic thinking skills to drive conversations with new and existing clients to support their design, product and brand strategy with project teams and executive level client stakeholders. Finally, you have a good understanding of team skillsets and can bring the right team to programs. Managing clients, addressing ongoing challenges, pivoting as needed, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to schedules and budgets are all part of the job.

TEAGUE is currently working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are a Washington State based company. All employees must reside in the state of Washington and be able to access one of our studio locations in the greater Seattle area when we return to work in our hybrid/remote work approach.
