Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will use their deep experience and understanding of HR and organizational structure to create, build, maintain, and improve the experience of working at TEAGUE through collaboration, problem-solving, analysis, mentoring, and good judgment. This is a multi-faceted position that demands initiative, diplomacy, and superlative communication skills. First, you’ll apply a thorough understanding of the business and related operations to inform, develop and align people strategies, and HR frameworks that support positive business outcomes. Second, you’ll be responsible for guiding and facilitating the execution of firm-wide and studio-based initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, talent review and development, salary review, resource planning, departures and terminations, business planning, and goal-setting. Third, you’re a seasoned mentor and colleague who models a positive, solution-oriented approach to issues. You can provide daily coaching and guidance to foster effective working relationships, promote and sustain positive morale and productivity, attract and retain top talent, and support TEAGUE as a great place to work. Fourth, you serve as a liaison at multiple levels: with other HR center leaders to deliver studio-specific people solutions; by providing status updates to the CFO; by partnering with others to advise on and execute organization design and structure, processes, and effectiveness; and collaborating with other senior leadership on Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. Fifth, you’re nimble with numbers and have an aptitude for analysis, creating, communicating and managing targeted metrics and drivers and translating them effectively to practical application. Finally, you are able to communicate effectively at all levels, adept at tailoring your tone, voice, and content to the subject matter and audience. And last but not least, you are current with trends, employment law, D&I, best practices, and compliance requirements.
