    The Human Resources Business Partner works to ensure that we align the right people with the right opportunities, energizes and develops our talent to do their best work, and provides effective consultation and delivery of strategic people solutions that enable successful business outcomes. This position will support our Global Design Studio in downtown Seattle and should expect to spend about 10 percent of his/her time in other studio locations.

    Generally speaking, it is your job to collaborate with managers and employees to develop organizational and talent capabilities and build trusted relationships with colleagues through superlative communication and collaboration. If you are a supremely well-organized individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of HR who enjoys wearing numerous hats, read on. Hat #1: You’ll be responsible for guiding and facilitating the execution of firm-wide and studio-based initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, talent review and development, salary review, resource planning, business planning, and goal-setting. Hat #2: You’re a seasoned mentor and colleague who models a positive, solution-oriented approach to issues. You are adept at providing daily coaching and guidance to foster effective working relationships, promote and sustain positive morale and productivity, retain top talent, and support TEAGUE as a great place to work. Hat #3: You’re a gifted diplomat, skilled at resolving workplace disputes and complex employee issues. Hat #4: You’ll be overseeing a variety of programs and gatherings; providing HR policy guidance; and planning, evaluating and monitoring studio level training programs. You’ll also be responsible for reviewing and administering people-related changes such as hires, status changes, and departures. Personality-wise, you are known for your discretion, integrity and excellent judgment; get along well with people and communicate effectively at all levels, whether through proactive communication with the HR director or through written communications and presentations.     • Experience: Bachelors degree in a related field; minimum of 10 years in a generalist role demonstrating progressing growth in scope and responsibility; experience in a creative environment highly preferred; track record of successfully managing projects within scope and budget; demonstrated success building and leading ad hoc teams to accomplish complex goals; experience providing long-term planning as well as day-to-day operations; successful coaching experience with measurable outcomes; up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging trends and best practices in HR; specialized experience with the requirements of effective change management, culture building and engagement
    • Special skills: Adept at facilitating dialogue to discover hidden issues and finding resolution; excellent communication, time/task management and follow-through; a high level of interpersonal skills; demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, decision making, and conflict resolution skills; proficient with numbers, including calculations, analysis, trending, patterns, relational data and basic statistics; advanced Microsoft Office skills
