  • Overview

The Facility Coordinator is responsible for shipping/receiving, material handling, mail routing, and inventory control in a shop setting.  This role demands a customer service oriented individual with a passion for challenging circumstances. You thrive in a fast paced and less than traditional environment.

    Why We Need This Position

Innovation isn’t just about great ideas. It also involves a lot of stuff & logistics—shipping of prototypes and mockups, movement of inventory, handling of equipment, and eagle-eyed tracking and organization of it all. We need people on the ground dedicated to making sure that the shipping and receiving of packages runs smoothly. That’s where you come in.

    Who We’re Looking For

Someone who likes to keep systems running on time and efficiently, with a high level of organization, a professional outlook, and great enthusiasm. You know what being a strong multi-tasker looks like in communication, actions and execution. You have outstanding follow through and have a “don’t wait to tell me what to do” attitude. You are responsible for tracking the movement of shipments for a vast and fast-moving operation in a less than traditional environment. The person in this role is responsible for verifying, recording, and routing incoming and outgoing shipments in a timely manner; maintaining a proper level of material inventory, accessories, and supplies; and coordinating transportation with internal customers, clients, and suppliers. In addition to inventory control and coordinating the physical movement of a large number of shipments, this person will accurately implement TEAGUE’s established document retention procedures with superlative attention to detail and adhere to established safety and security procedures and protocol in the workplace. Finally, this person coordinates material handling; understands loading and unloading best practices; and knows how to operate various material handling equipment, including a forklift, pallet jack, and scissor lift in a s hop environment. In short, it’s up to you to make sure everything gets where it’s supposed to go and that there’s a proper record of what’s happened to it. If you like to create order out of chaos in a dynamic workplace, we’d like to talk to you.
