Manager for Business Management Systems (BMS & QMS) is responsible for assessing (AS9100), refining, designing, and managing TEAGUE’s Business and Quality Management System (BMS, QMS) and assuring that projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget. This leader will manage all aspects of the BMS-related ad hoc and strategic projects, which range in size from a few hours to 10,000 hours. This includes scoping, sizing, business requirements, ROI calculation, scheduling, development, testing, and on-time/within budget delivery of these projects. On-going maintenance, process improvement, and change control for the BMS and QMS system will also fall to this position.

You’ve loved business ever since: figuring out why one works and another doesn’t, how to streamline, grow and improve it, how to make it a true leader in the industry. These days, you’re a formidably well-organized visionary with ace analytical chops who can formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications, and industry requirements. You will operate as a liaison between key stakeholders and the appropriate end-user department, evaluating and translating end user needs and problems to QMS associates and/or vendors where appropriate. In addition, you have a keen understanding of the business implications of QMS solutions, and can assist in defining and documenting the solutions to support any future business needs. Finally, you’re an experienced mentor and guide, adept at training end users in new processes and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools as well as providing support for the existing QMS system.
Skills-wise, you possess a deep knowledge of and expertise in the development of moderately complete business processes and are adept at communicating business problems and alternatives to a variety of groups. In addition to being a dynamic and crystal-clear communicator, you have an eagle eye for detail, which will come in handy as you track and maintain all quality system documentation, forms, non-conformance, audits and control records. You are also responsible for achieving AS9100 certification and consistently maintaining that certification. On any given day, you may find yourself conducting business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align quality management solutions with business initiatives; working with business users to define and analyze problems and align the most appropriate QMS, process or configuration solutions; considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment; creating end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, and training materials) and training for accuracy; or testing all results to determine whether process changes met specifications. You will also be responsible for soliciting, developing, documenting and managing requirements and providing detailed design and business rules to support the requirements throughout project life cycle up to and through change control of relevant business processes. In short, this is a job for someone who has a passion for improving business systems through constant analysis using proven methodologies.
